every personal site needs the maker's life story, right? hi, the name's steve hocktail. i'm in my mid-twenties. currently i am going to college in upstate new york, and i hope to have a job involving computers one day.

my hobbies are mostly computer stuff -- video games, coding, you know the drill. currently, my desktop is running gentoo linux. my favorite video games include ori and the blind forest, ori and the will of the wisps, rivals of aether, shovel knight, celeste, the legend of zelda: majora's mask, and the legend of zelda: breath of the wild.

currently i am co-running a minecraft server for my college, and next semester i will be president of our board and card game club.
